21-Jul-2009 -- Well, this seemed a lot closer on the map... While driving through the Lofoten Islands, I decided to enter this confluence point into my GPS navigation system, to see how close I could get. I ended up taking a narrow country road, until it ended abruptly, 5km from the confluence point. Unfortunately, a large mountain was in the way, so it became clear that I wasn't going to reach the confluence point this way. Afterwards, from reading the previous visitors' accounts, it became clear that the best way to visit this point is via boat.
Oh well - this turns out not to be a confluence point for casual visitors. However, if you have sufficient time to spend in the Lofoten Islands, it appears to be well worth the effort.
