14-Jan-2001 -- The confluence is located 3.2km from a dirt track in natural scrub land. The dirt track came off the highway between Waikerie and Morgan.

After passing through a number of gates and by many cattle we arrived at a point on the road which was closest to the confluence. We decided not to walk out to the confluence because of the distance involved, the current temperature of 43 degrees C, the difficulty of the terrain and the late time of 6pm.
