25-Feb-2010 -- I called into this CP on a road trip from Perth to Newcastle. I wanted to make a small detour to visit Port Germein and then found that this CP was nearby.

We parked the car under a shady tree on the old road 120 metres west of the CP. Dawn stayed there with our old dog. I was only away for about 15 minutes. There was a railway line to cross about 20 metres from the road and on the way back I was lucky enough to see a freight train.
