Comes from 34°N 94°W.

After a good rest, I check-out the hotel and had breakfast and fill the fuel tank up again. Weather forecast for the day is the same, mild rains and temperatures between 1° and 3° C.

This confluence is about 22 km south of Mt Pleasant. I take Highway 271 South and when I reached Pittsburg town (Texas), turn right into Boulevard David Abemathy. Continue by Boulevard until an interception where I turn right on Highway 11. I start to go slowly, watching where would be the entrance to a small trial that is quite close to the confluence as I could see in Google Earth.

I see an abandoned house along Highway 11 and just by the trial that I was looking for. I parked the car at home and began my walk through a mild rain and a temperature of 2° C, on a trial full of water and mud, but at the end I noted another abandoned house surrounded by bushes. I opening passage between the bushes and realize that confluence is located on the property beside, a plantation in full activity with livestock. The greater approximation accomplishment is 174 meters and here I took photos.

I return to the road 11 and go to the property is just to the East of the abandoned house, thinking that it extends to the area of the confluence, but after talking with his owner I discover that this property finish just few meters from the road and is the next one to East where is located the confluence. He tells me that the owner is Norman Applegate, but this one is at his office in the town of Pittsburg, (Texas) and because I had other confluences for visiting today and I should arrive to Fort Worth, I decided to continue on my path.

The journey continues in 32°N 96°W.
