#1: This was as far as we got

(visited by John Dag Hutchison and Aase Tveitan Hutchison)

02-May-2011 -- We were driving southwards on road 7 from Burlington when we realized that we would be passing in the neighborhood of 43N73W. We put in the coordinates on the car GPS which directed us eastwards on road 9 from Bennington. From that road we were sent northwards on a graveled road called Somerset road. We were then directed on to something called Forest road 71 which, after a while, was blocked by a boom. Our Garmin GPS told us we had just over 5 km to go to the confluence. It was getting late, and we had no chance of reaching it and back again before dark. So we left it at that. This report is mainly made to make others aware of the boom and the need to use your feet for the rest of the way.

Time on GPS is CET.
