19-Mar-2012 – My son decided to have a field trip to Balaklava, Crimea to gather additional data for his geological scientific research.
By that time I was free from work and I kept him a company. So we departed from L'viv city on 18-th of March. The next day in the morning our train arrived to Simferopol' - the capital of autonomous republic of Crimea. Then we had to take a local train to Sevastopol' but it's departure time was at 15.00.
So we had about 5 hours of free time and plans to visit 45°N_34°E confluence. We used a bus to get to Gresivs'kiy village, then we went by foot directly to the confluence.
Confluence is situated on the field which was wet and a bit muddy in some places. There are big gently sloping hills with same shape valleys between them. This fields were sown with winter wheat. Near the confluence we found white crocusses which embellished it.
