07-Apr-2012 -- Hard to believe, but it's true. World is changing. Drought is in advance, and right here there is a proof of that. We reached the Confluence Point by the direct way from the unpaved road without even wetting our shoes.

After camping at Faro Punta Médanos, we took the Route 11 until the unpaved road where José Luis Cabezas's Monument is placed and continuing another 15 km, we parked our vehicle and started to prepare for being stuck into deep mud up to the waist. However, after crossing the fence and undertake our journey we realized that the mud spot and the lagoons described at the previous logs were dried. That was the way to reach the CP, just walking by a singular relief avoiding the bushes.
