#1: As close as I got to the confluence point, which lies 1/4 mile away, apparently within this cotton field

(visited by Ross Finlayson)

30-Oct-2012 -- After a brief visit to Plains, Georgia (a small town famous for being the home town of former president Jimmy Carter), I made a short detour to try to visit this confluence point before returning to I-75.

I found a red dirt road (Tim Tucker Road) that took me within 1/4 mile of the confluence point, which appears to lie within a cotton field. Because a cotton crop was growing there at the time, I didn't want to venture into the field to get closer to the confluence point.
