06-May-2013 -- En visitas anteriores al Palmar del Orinoco note que la 8N 64W quedaba a 11 km en línea recta de la ubicación a la cual tengo que visitar regularmente, luego de estudiar los mapas y ver las imágenes satelitales del Google Earth decidí que en mi próxima visita iría al PC siempre y cuando el combustible, el tiempo y las condiciones climáticas me lo permitieran.

El día de hoy 06-05-2013 Salí a las 6:20 am de la Ciudad de El Tigre con rumbo a El Palmar del Orinoco por cuestiones de trabajo llegando a mi destino a las 9 am, luego de realizar mi trabajo en la zona hable con mi compañero Jaime Salazar para ver la posibilidad de visitar el 8N 64W la cual acepto y a las 9:20 am emprendimos viaje.

Luego de recorrer 25,8 km de trilla siempre en sentido Sur Este llegamos al Hato El Paraparo 8°0'2.9"N 64°0'59.9"W a las 11:00 am donde nos recibió el Sr. Rafael Aponte y luego de comunicarle que debíamos entrar en el mismo y realizar un recorrido buscando la ruta del PC accedió a acompañarnos, luego de 2,2 km de recorrido entre bosque y sabana, pasando un falso al Hato Las Mercedes propiedad de los dueños del Hato El Paraparo llegamos a 500 m del PC donde procedimos a dejar la camioneta y realizar la caminata debido a que el terreno se estaba comenzando a inundar producto de las lluvias de la época hasta llegar al PC.

Se procedió a realizar la danza de los Ceros a las 11:25 am y a tomar las fotos de rigor para regresar al vehículo dejar al Sr. Rafael Aponte en el Hato Los Paraparos y emprender viaje a Mulatalito – Los Monos – Boca del Pao y Pueblo Viejo para cumplir compromisos en dichas entidades de la región.

06-May-2013 - On previous visits to Palmar del Orinoco I saw that the 8N 64W was only 11 km straight out of the location at which I have to visit regularly. After studying the maps and see satellite images of Google Earth, I decided that on my next visit would the CP when fuel, time and weather conditions would permit.

Today 06/05/2013 I left at 6:20 am from the City of El Tigre in route to El Palmar del Orinoco to work, arriving at my destination at 9 am. After doing my work in the area, I talk to my partner Jaime Salazar to see the possibility of visiting 8N 64W, and he accept and at 9:20 am our quest began.

After traveling by dirty road 25.8 km South East direction, we arrived at Hato El Paraparo 8°0'2.9"N 64°0'59.9"W at 11:00 am, where we met Mr. Rafael Aponte and then inform him about our porpoise he agreed joint us in our quest. After 2.2 km of travel between forest and savanna, once we pass a gate to Hato Las Mercedes owned by the owners of Hato El Paraparo we arrived 500 m from CP. Here where we proceeded to leave the truck and make the trek due the terrain was beginning to flood rains product of the time to reach the CP.

We proceeded to perform the dance of the Zeroes at 11:25 am and take the required pictures to return to the vehicle at leave Mr. Rafael Aponte in Hato Los Paraparos and continue our trip to Mulatalito – Los Monos - Boca del Pao and Pueblo Viejo to fulfill commitments in these entities of the region.
