06-Nov-2013 -- Comes from 50°N 7°E.

Been on vacation in Europe to visit my son, as every confluence hunter I took the opportunity and visited 12 Confluences (one incomplete) including one in France not visited so far.

We left 50°N 7°E and entered the super highway A1 towards South to the city of Saarbrücken, then we reach Unner where we crossed the border into France. We continues south on the N61 road. We went through the towns of Willerwald and then Sarralbe.

Here we took the D656 road and then a muddy path (it had rained) of only 1.3 km that took us to the Confluence, which we could distinguish at the distance by the treatment water plant located beside the confluence.

I quickly walked a few meters and was doing the famous Confluence Dance. The temperature was 4°C, so I took the pictures as soon as possible and returned to the car to start the way towards our next goal. When we started the journey towards the next Confluence, we went through the population of Keskastel, where we saw a bakery curiously called "Le Venezuela", perhaps some countrymen in this remote area.

Confluence hunting sequence continues at 49°N 8°E.
