29-Sep-2014 -- On a quick visit to Greece we picked up a car at Athens Airport and headed northwards towards Marathón. The GPS revealed a confluence point nearby, and we went there as it was more or less was on the way.
As previous visitors have stated before, this was an easy visit. In fact, confluence hunting is sometimes getting too easy with navigational units in vehicles and no real need for map reading skills and operation of hand held GPS units.
And no physical efforts to reach the actual confluence point.
And consequently no feeling of achievement compared to reaching those in the wilderness, e.g. 42N 74E.
