12-Oct-2015 --This confluence is one of the three that we visited on a trip between Resende (Rio de Janeiro) and Ribeirão Preto (Sao Paulo), on the occasion of the holiday of 12 October, day of Nossa Senhora Aparecida (Patron Saint of the Brazil).

The third day of the trip we started early our return from Ribeirão Preto (São Paulo) to Resende (Rio de Janeiro). Most of the way would be in the State of Minas Gerais, which we reached an hour after starting the journey, in the vicinity of Itamogi.

The physiognomy of the field was changing significantly, going from São Paulo with ground undulating with extensive sugar cane plantations to Minas Gerais with a hilly relief where the coffee goes into being the main crop.

Not far from the border of the States, driving along route BR491 from Itamogi towards São Sebastião do Paraíso and already in the vicinity of the confluence, we took a detour of ground (the only recognizable) to the left, that after a couple of kilometers left us 90 metres from the confluence. Walking through the corridors that form a coffee plantation, we arrived almost at the exact point.
