21-Feb-2016 -- Visited the confluence on Feb. 21, 2016. It was a long haul but worth it in the end. GPS was was at 54°00.000'N 59°00.000'W with 3 meters accuracy. Had a great time.

We traveled by snowmobile on a trail to within 150 meters of the site and continued on foot the rest of the way. The site is in a heavily wooded area with mostly spruce trees and some fir. It took about 11 hours all together and the trail was quite bumpy. Traveling by snowmobile is the easiest way to get to this confluence.
