22-Jul-2015 -- Hinauf ins Songköl-Too

Die kleine -Stan-Runde: Wir genießen grandiose Ausblicke von den Pässen Kirgistans über die Himmelsberge des Tian Shan und hoppeln durch das Siebenstromland und die Militärspielplätze in den Wüsten der Hungersteppe von Kasachstan.

Am Tag vor dem Abflug ruiniert der Navigator das GPS. Glücklicherweise hat der Sparschwabe ein Zweites gebunkert. In Bishkek angekommen ging’s gleich so weiter: Wladimir hatte das Haus mitsamt unserem Toyo drin verkauft. Die neuen Besitzer waren nicht aufzutreiben, weil das Haus zuerst umgebaut werden sollte. Doch die Baustelle war verlassen: Wir hatten wieder einmal zielsicher unsere Reisezeit mitten in den Ramadan gelegt und sind genau zum Big Eat gelandet. Nichts geht mehr. Nach zwei Tagen Telefon- und Emailkette (Aisuluu -> Ayla -> Larissa -> Wladimir) konnten wir unseren Toyo endlich in Empfang nehmen und ihn von Zementstaub befreien.

Klack – das Relais schließt und brrrr, der Motor springt wie immer sofort an. Der Besuch am Turm von Burana muss noch sein, dann decken wir uns mit Melonen- und Tomaten-Proviant ein. Ab Kemin geht’s bergauf. Der Beifahrer bekommt keine Luft mehr. Also noch einen Abstecher zum Luftkurort und Aprikosen-Eldorado am Issy-Kul. Naftagen in Balikchi: 2 x Auspuff, Blech und Beifahrer-Boden schweißen. Der betrunkene Aleksander will mich währenddessen entführen.

Der Kizart-Pass zieht sich endlos. Der Toyo wird immer langsamer und rußt vor sich hin. Angekommen in Dzhangi-Aryk scheitert die direkte Anfahrts-Variante in einer steilen Wiese und der zweite Versuch in einem Hof. Man nimmts gelassen und scheint hier Touris gewohnt zu sein. Wir schlagen einen landschaftlich grandiosen Bogen durch das einen Kilometer südlich gelegene Tal des Bazarturuk nach Ost-Nordost: „Ja, mit der Maschina kann man geradeaus weiter bis zum Sonköl."

Doch zuerst müssen wir einen Weg zur Konfluenz finden und die steilen Tal-Bankette erklimmen. Nach 6,5 km führt ein Track auf der nördlichen Seite hinauf auf das 100 höher gelegene Plateau. Und siehe da - eine andere Piste verläuft oben genau parallel zum Bazarturuk-Tal zurück Richtung Kizart-Tal. Nach 2,5 Kilometer liegt die Konfluenz knapp 200 Meter neben der Piste in einer Wiese.

The Little -Stan Round-trip: We enjoyed gorgeous views from the passes of Kyrgyzstan above the Heavenly Mountains of Tian Shan and bounced through the Seven Rivers Country and the military playgrounds in the deserts of Kazakhstan's Hungry Steppe.

The day before departure, the navigator ruins the GPS. Fortunately, somebody is collecting them. Arrived in Bishkek it went on like this: Vladimir sold the house together with our Toyo inside. The new owners want to rebuilt it. But the construction site was abandoned: Once again, we placed our travel time in Ramadan season and landed exactly to join the Big Eat where everybody is on holiday. After two days of telephone and email chain (Aisuluu -> Ayla -> Larissa -> Vladimir) we finally were able to free our Toyo - as well from cement dust.

Clack - the relay connects and brrrr, as always, the motor starts immediately. One last touristy visit of the tower of Burana, then we cover ourselves with melons and tomatoes for supplies. From Kemin on the street went uphill. The passenger has problems to breathe. So another detour to the climatic spa and apricot Eldorado on Issy-Kul. Naftagen in Balikchi: Welding 2 times the exhaust, one sheet metal and the passenger floor. In the meantime the drunk Aleksander wants to kidnap me.

The Kizart Pass is endless. The Toyo gets slower and smoking his way up. Arrived in Dzhangi-Aryk the direct approach fails in a steep meadow and the second attempt in a yard. It seems that they are used to tourists. We took a scenic detour through the valley of Bazarturuk one kilometre south direction east-northeast: "Yes, you can continue straight to the Sonköl Lake even by Maschina."

But first we have to find a way to the confluence and climb the steep valley banquets. After 6.5 km, a track leads up on the northern side. Surprisingly 100 meter higher another track runs exactly parallel to the Bazarturuk Valley back towards the Kizart Valley. After 2.5 kilometres we found the confluence just 200 meters distance from the track in a meadow.
