20-Июн-2018 -- Стамбул очень интересный и красивый город. Мы уже осмотрели большинство его достопримечательностей. Близость точки конфлюенции 41N 29E и реальность её посещения не давали мне покоя. Осталось лишь зафрахтовать корабль. Свой корабль я нашёл в небольшой гавани на берегу Мраморного моря в районе Султанахмет (41°0'5,02"N 28°58'41,68"E). Здесь арендовали лодки мои предшественники Yip Ray и Rainer Mautz. Капитан Vahap за 100 TRL (21 $) согласился довезти меня до точки слияния. От порта до точки 1860 метров по прямой. Катер преодолел расстояние за 20 минут. К точке нас сопровождали дельфины.

На обратном пути капитан взял курс немного севернее, на Софию. Причина - сильное течение из Босфора. Возвращались на стоянку вдоль берега с прекрасными видами на Собор Святой Софии, мечеть Султан Ахмед (Синяя) и дворец Топкапы.

Точка расположена в западной Турции, в Стамбуле. Интересно географическое расположение слияния. Оно находится на границе Европы и Азии в проливе Босфор на южном выходе в Мраморное море.

20-Jun-2018 -- Istanbul is a very interesting and beautiful city. We have already visited most of its sights. Since I learnt the confluence point 41N 29E was so near and approachable, I couldn’t find peace. All I had to do was to charter a ship. I found my ship in a small harbor on the shore of the Marmara Sea in the Sultanahmet area (41°0'05.02"N 28°58'41.68"E). Here both my predecessors Yip Ray and Rainer Mautz had rented boats. Captain Vahap agreed to take me to the point of confluence for 100 Turkish Lira (21 US-$ or 18 €). It is 1860 meters from the port to the point, in a straight line. The boat covered the distance in 20 minutes. On our way to the point we were accompanied by dolphins.

On the way back our captain took a course a little further north, to Sofia. The reason was the strong current from the Bosphorus. We were returning to the port along the shore with beautiful views of Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya), Sultan Ahmet (Blue) Mosque and Topkapı Palace.

The point is located in western Turkey, in Istanbul. The geographic location of the confluence is interesting. It is located on the border of Europe and Asia in the Bosphorus Strait at the southern outlet to the Sea of Marmara.
