23-Apr-2019 -- After having discharged a cargo of 20,000 tons of coal in the port of Barahona, we set course South to Venezuela. Shortly after departure we passed 18N 71W. Unfortunately there was rain in the area, and so the view to the shore is not the best one.
Towards SW we see Punta Arena with its windfarm nearby.
Towards NW we see the mountains of Loma Pié de Palo.
Towards NNW we see Punta Avarena.
Towards South no land is visible, but a carpet of Sargasso, the typical seaweed widespread in the Western Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.
