03-Oct-2019 -- I attended the ESICM annual meeting in Berlin and I saved a few days for a touristic trip after the meeting. This time we choose to go by train to the wonderful city of Prague in Czech Republic. We had a chance to rent a car for one day on Oct 3rd to visit the area of the capital city and this was a perfect occasion to visit N50 E14 and N50 E15 on the same day.
As previously described, N50 E14 is oddly located at the very foot of the northern wall of the Nizbor castle making the visit very interesting and attractive. The point is however difficult to zero in as it is actually in the cliff on which the wall is built. We were able to approach the point at less than 6 meters but couldn’t get closer without exposing ourselves to a bad fall.
Nizbor Castle seems to have received much attention recently and the whole area is now renovated as it deserves and attracts the interest of tourists. Interestingly the presence of the confluence point is mentionned by a sign and a landmark though the latter is located at least at 15 meters NE of the actual point.
Very nice and scenic visit !
