(visited by Captain Peter)

26-Dec-2019 -- During our voyage from Puerto Quetzal (Guatemala) with 26,000 tons of raw sugar to Vancouver (Canada) today we passed the southern coast of the peninsula of Baja California.

The confluence 24N 111W lies close to the southern coast of Baja California, which is uninhabited in this area and rather barren.

Looking ahead to NW we see the quite featureless coast, to the North there is a place called Arroyo Conejo. Arroyo Conejo is worth a closer look, because there are some camping cars, and the small lighthouse (a metal framework tower) with the number G3591.7 according the Admiralty List of Lights. During the night it gives two flashes every 10 seconds.

The views to East and SE are fairly similar.

I am attaching two closer looks, one to ENE and one to ESE. The vegetation seems to be cactea or similar desert plants.
