03-Aug-2020 -- This the third of 14 CP visits made during a road trip through the
Czech republic and Germany.
The previous is N50 E14.
The next is N52 E14.
Having survived the rainy evening in Prague the day before, and after a hearty breakfast in
our hotel, we programmed the navi and followed the instructions. Initially wet and rainy, the
weather cleared the farther North we drove. Crossing into Germany it was already sunny and we
arrived about 500 metres from the CP at 15:35. It appeared that we were on some sort of hiking
trail.
Following the GPS we first came across a confluence point monument situated 170 metres from the
CP. After some initial photos we headed off into the woods to the CP. Having taken the
usual photos we headed back to the original confluence point monument where Michael had found
out that there was a hidden Geocache. After a few minutes he found the Geocache but then we
realized we did not have a pen with us to sign the Geocache paper reel. So it was back to the
car and back again to the Geocache.
Whilst at the Geocache we chatted to a number of hikers who were doing a multi-day hike,
unfortunately I can't remember the name of the trail.
Job done, we headed off to the next CP.
