22-Jul-2022 -- ...and now the new trees are growing up...
My second confluence of the morning - a nice drive along a twisty dirt road, easy parking and pleasant walk.
It has been a rain free and hot summer so no wet feet at the confluence, though as the trees (planted Scots pine and self-sown birch) are now above head height and and have not been thinned my direct route required a bit of bending and pushing. The NESW views from the confluence are not that exciting but I note there are plenty of berry bearing plants - yum!
I exited northwards along the planting line - a longer route but a lot less of a struggle.
I didn't find the geocache (last photographed in 2016)
