26-Aug-2023 --
During a two week road-trip through Iceland together with a friend of mine, I took the chance to visit the some confluence points.
On the same day I visited the confluence point 64N-21W I was able to visit a second one: 64N-20W! It was already after seven in the evening when we reached the closest point to the CP on the road. Due to the thick cloud cover and the drizzle, it was already starting to get dark. We arrived from south at the road "Landvegur" and parked the car about 450 m south at the CP, near the gate to the pasture with the CP on it. Opposite the road there is another pasture named "Framheidi". I started the walk by foot by climbing the pasture fence. Now it was just a walk through fresh, green and wet grass, following a dirt track, until I reached the closer area of the confluence point. A few meters north from the CP is a large stone lying with lichen on it. I took the needed pictures at 64N-20W under rainy conditions. No one was to be seen and no animals were on this pasture.
This visit was my second visit of a confluence point in Iceland. It was a very easy and quick one, without any problems.
