#1: Sun sets in the snow covered valley.

(visited by Alex Jarrett, Dick Jarrett and Andrea Jarrett)

19-Feb-1999 -- Four inches of fresh snow had just fallen in New Hampshire the night before. My father, my eight-year-old sister and I pulled off to the side of Route 302 (pic #5) as evening was approaching. Holding the laptop computer in one hand and my sister's in the other, we trudged through the woods. At one point Andrea slipped in the snow up to her waist.

The confluence is located in a valley with a sluggish stream running through it. Andrea and Dick demonstrated the confluence concept in picture #2.
