24-Feb-2001 -- A weekend-trip to the south of Germany brought the opportunity to visit two confluences on the way.

As MapQuest already had shown, 52N 10E is very accessible by car (and also by bike), so I had no problems getting there, apart from an increasing noise coming from my exhaust pipe (which developed a big hole during the trip). In bright sunshine, I reached the spot.

Once again, the confluence is situated on a field, which was conveniently frozen. I decided to plant another Ceremonial Confluence Tree as I had done on 53N 9E. Only one day after my visit, the site was visited again, and the tree was still there...

The small village which is situated just north-east of the confluence btw is called Evensen, not Östrum.
