Next one to the south from Lapua's
confluence (N63 E23), this confluence was very fun to get. We took the train from
Kauhava to Parkano - around 122km and visited that little
city, a true forest city it was!
For our suprise, we
needed to take taxi-bus from Parkano's railway station to
the city of Parkano. Looking from the Parkano's station
you couldn't see anything but forest. The city
itself was hidden behind a 7km ride from the station.
The exact confluence location was 4km away from the city,
in middle of a forest. The forest's terrain was most fun,
there were trees so close to each other it was hard to
get through all the branches, the ground was full of rocks
and at one area there was a nice swamp I didn't first
notice at all, until my feet begun sinking.
The confluence
location itself was on kind of a forest clearing, not too
much trees there. Very near to the confluence location
there was a stick on the ground, perhaps marking private
land boundaries.
After we got the confluence, we walked back to the city
of Parkano. About 2km walk from the confluence location
there was a nice little river - it was so refreshing after
the trip to dip our legs in the water. The last picture
is a view of the city of Parkano.
