16-Jul-2001 -- The whole area surrounding this confluence is dead flat. In winter it is under water most if not all of the time. I looked at it from the highway and then drove down a side road to the 37th parallel just west of the confluence. It was almost impossible to walk across the paddock as it was all water and mud.

It would be relatively easy to get to from either side when it dries out in the summer.
