15-Aug-2001 -- A couple of days after visiting 44N 6E, we drove back from Aix-en-Provence to Basel. This time we took the highway, which led us close past this confluence point.

We left the highway A7 at the exit "Avignon Sud", heading nort-east. About 5 kilometers west of Pernes-les-Fontaines we parked our car on the side of a melon field and started our walk towards the confluence point. This time we were luckier: 44N 5E lies in the middle of a melon field. Still we had to walk the straight way through hedges and ditches to the field instead of taking the road, which we "discovered" on the way back to the car.
