#1: looking south and up a muddy road

(visited by David Mower)

04-Apr-2002 -- Drat! Another attempt! The combination of muddy roads and failing daylight doomed this effort. The DCP is near the summit of Bergeson Hill which is in farming country. I passed many tractors out preparing the fields for planting.

The largest nearby towns are Preston, Idaho and Logan, Utah, home of Utah State University. Three of my children have graduated there, so I have visited the area frequently. But, I may not have a chance to return for quite some time, so I made the attempt today.

These towns are in a high mountain valley with cold winter-time temperatures and a short growing season.

A bad day exploring is better than any other day!
