03-Apr-2002 -- According to our map, this confluence was in the water, but as we came reasonably close when driving to Olympia, we decided to take a look. We followed a motorway that suddenly ended and changed into a narrow road. It was rather difficult to find the right beach (Greek signposting sometimes is a disaster), but after some driving around we discovered a pier that we hoped would be the closest we could get to the confluence.
It was a rainy off-season day and the place was quite depressing. There were almost no people around and the terraces were deserted, but we had the impression that even in summertime this beach is not the place to be for us. We walked up and down the beach while closely looking at our gps to see if we could get any closer, but the confluence was definitely in the water and the minimum distance we reached was about 1.5 kilometres.
