#1: 15N 100E from dirt road side

(visited by Kanok Chantrasmi, Prakarn Parichayakorn, Kingkaew Parichayakorn and Preawta Parichayakorn)

02-Jun-2002 -- After a family visit in Chai Nat, I thought that it was a good time to visit the 15N 100E that I've planed for a long time after I got 14N 101E. On the way from Chai Nat to Supanburi, I explained about Confluence.org to everyone in the trip and they agreed to give some effort to visit 15N 100E. We exited the Highway 340 to 3211 and turned left to an unnamed road then a small dirt road that cut through the middle of a rice paddy. The dirt road led us to within 80 meters of the confluence then I had to walk along the partition dike. The closest I could go without getting wet was about 10 meters north of the point. After harvesting in the summer, it might be possible to get to the field to get the zero reading. It was about to rain and the dike was so narrow that I could not get a clear shot of the GPS. This confluence took us 20 minutes to find.

The next one might be 15N 101E.
