Once again our group of friends from www.path4x4.com gathered with the goal of finding a new confluence point and also of celebrating Friendship Day.

This time we chose the province of Entre Ríos, starting from Buenos Aires; having to travel back and forth a total of 610 km.

After having crossed both watercourses of the Río Paraná, we began to travel through an area of depressions and swans before reaching Larroque, in which we stopped to have launch.
After having had a cup of coffee, we began the search for the point, which fortunately was at only some 300 meters away from a road, which made it quite easy to get to the place.

The cartography mentioned a certain trigonometric point (#63), but although we looked for it for a long time, at the end we could not find the tower, which showed it’s exact spot. The area has little places for harvesting as the earth is not of very good quality, unlike the fields we had traveled through during our last quest for two confluence points.
As usual, we had a toast with champagne, as we took the pictures that we needed at the point.

On our way back, instead of going through the route, we traveled through small town roads. It was raining, which made the journey back home really fun as we had to go through fields filled with mud and water.
Some of the vehicles got stuck in the mud and it took a lot of work to take them out of there.

We reached the route at 10 pm, with a lot of mud on our backs and still with a lot of km ahead of us, but having spent a very fun day among friends.

On the radio we communicated with another part of the group, which had started a bit later and had accomplished to find another confluence point, having gone through large swans and weeds, with water reaching their knees.

But that’s a different story, which will be told by the people involved in it.
