#1: Looking East, tributary of the Kuparuk River

(visited by Douglas Quist)

16-Jul-2002 -- This was my second confluence in as many days. I was working at a remote site on the North Slope of Alaska and realized my daily helicopter commute took me past another confluence. On the return trip to our camp at Happy Valley we hovered over the confluence point.

The first picture is directly to the east; the river is a tributary of the Kuparuk river. The second image is of the confluence point from the air through the cab. The third is of the confluence point out the window of the helicopter.
