20-Oct-2002 -- Ferdi Schenk and I and our families were on our way to visit 26S 31E. Between Wonderfontein and Carolina we passed within 1 km of 26S 30E. Ferdi had visited this one before, but on the way back we decided to have another look.

We met the farmer, Willie Cronje, of the farm Leliefontein, at the gate and he suggested we approach from the east (Ferdie had approached from the west before), and parked our vehicles at the Helpmekaar Mission Station of the Evangelical Reformed Church. From there it is a 300 m walk through a ploughed mealie field to the Confluence.

We also met the Reverend Abednego Mthimunye and his family and friends, who were of course very curious and we had to explain the DCP to them.
