28-Jun-2003 -- While attempting this spot east of Crannell, I discovered clearly marked Private Property signs belonging to the Simpson Tree Farm. At the open gate there was an unattended guard shack on the right side with a security camera mounted on top. Since I did not have written permission as the sign stated was required I decided to bypass this confluence and continue my adventure to other confluences. I was still a few miles away from the intersection at this point and turned around to meet back up with my family at the nearby beach. Later I regretted that I did not get my camera out and at least take a picture of the obstacle (private property signs) preventing my successful visit to this confluence.
