21-Mar-2004 -- We drove from Tripolis (Gargaresh Road) on the main road towards Ġaryān. A few kilometres after Ġaryān we left the main road to turn left onto a branch road. We continued on the branch road for about 7 km and then turned left onto a barely driveable agricultural road. We continued on this for about 1 km.
About 1500 m away from the Confluence we left the car and started walking directly overland towards the Confluence. After crossing two ridges and two small valleys we reached the confluence point. The point is actually about 100 m NE of another road, which was not on any map, so we did not use it. The point is on farmed land, near a small farm building. The weather was warm and sunny, and we reached the point at about 6 p.m. local time.
