31-May-2004 -- By musclepower alone.
Actually this was our second try for this confluence because the first that we made, two weeks ago, went wrong because of exhausted batteries so we could not take the neccessary pictures of the GPS unit.
On this second try we took off from our home by bicycles and rode the first 5 km to the edge of an afforestation area. Then we walked the last 3 km to the confluence.
On the first trip we had two GPS units and they were idendical about were the spot was. Now we had only one GPS unit but it took us to exactly the same spot as before.
The first visitor to this confluence tells that he “...found a steel bar from an old fence which I stuck in the ground at the spot.”
This steel bar can be seen on his picture of the confluence and it can still be found, stuck in the ground on the same spot as the picture shows.
Our spot is about 2 m away from the steel bar.
After some refreshments we went back the same way. We were back home after about a four hours' trip.
