26-Jun-2004 -- The confluence is in the middle of the Verri village. The area is quite picturesque and surprisingly green for this time of the year due to the abundant recent rainfalls. When close to the village, the road goes through a small gorge with several fresh water spring that I suspect are the source of Kalasa river. We were able to get about 20 meters close to the point that quite likely falls on the rooftop of one of the houses. The pictures were taken in a crossroad of village alleys. Centuries old olive trees, figs and citrus trees form real tunnels providing a much welcomed cool shadow under the hot Mediterranean sun. We had to share the site with some four-legged friends enjoying the site too. In order to get to the site by car do not follow the instruction provided by Mapquest link. Instead take the road to Delvina and ask for directions.
