19-Oct-2004 -- I decided I couldn't miss the opportunity of getting as many zeros as possible whilst here in blighty so before dropping off the car and flying home to Austria I decided to visit 52N0.
Rush hour drive through the traffic on the M1 to junction 13 then just a case of following the A507 until I could turn on to the A10 northbound. 2nd turning on the right towards Barkway. 1.1km from the CP I found a public footpath heading in the right direction so out of the car and on with the wellies.
Down the footpath across a field or two through a hedge over a ditch etc. and I'm in the correct field. Walk around the outside of the field until I'm at a right angle to the CP then head north to the point.
At the point I was able to change the GPS display from 52N 0W to 52N 0E just by moving my hand from one side of my body to the other see the GPS picture.
Pictures taken, then walk back to the car. Lots of Pheasants were flying around or running away from me as I went to the CP and back again, but they were always too fast for me when it came to trying to get a photo.
