Cruzei Morrinhos e peguei a GO-476/419 no sentido Buriti Alegre.

I decided to program to do the conquest of the 49-18 after verifying, for my surprise, that it still had not been visited. I caught the topographical map of the area and images of the satellite LANDSAT, one of May and another of August of 2004, to analyze if the point was in some difficult access area. Absolutely: in the images, clearly that it was a clean area, close to a native forest and inside of some place with human activity. Maybe a field or a pasture area. I had some difficult to find the accesses until the place in the images, once the resolution of 30 m doesn't help a lot. But with the map of IBGE and the image in my hands, I got the point to exit from highway that I should take and to visualize an access that would take me until some 2 km of the point.
On Friday 29/10, I left Goiânia, my city, at 7:30 am. Prow for the south and there I went for BR-153, in direction to the city of Itumbiara. I came to the east in GO-217, in the direction to the city of Piracanjuba and, after 25 km, I go ahead to the south again, in the state highway GO-147 that ties that city of Morrinhos. I crossed Morrinhos and I caught GO-476/419 in the direction of Buriti Alegre. The day was beautiful, fresh, with a “big blue” sky that only the central plateau has. It was easy to find the dirt road that left the asphalt, very close of the city of Buriti. There vein the best part: with GPS in navigation for the confluence, it seemed that the such a highway went accompanying the tip of the needle of GOTO’s apparel! I turned about 12 km and I stopped in the gate of a farm. I went down there with the car and the distance until the point went only decreasing: 400 m, 350 m, 300 m and, finally, when I stopped beside the headquarters of the farm, GPS indicated 190 m for the north! The confluence was practically in the back yard of the property.
I was very well received by the proprietor and his wife, he a little withdrawn and she nicer. I realized clearly that he had fear of those visits because they informed me that have denied the access to their back yard for a couple that, in January of this year, it arrived on foot at the end of the day, wanting to visit the confluence. Intimately I lamented the bad luck of those two but at the same time I feel better, since that allowed me to be the first to arrive there. After half hour of conversation, they allowed me to go until the point: on foot, I crossed a gate, and GPS "reduced to zero" in the middle of a domestic plantation of cassavas. I was in the backyard of the farm’s house and, finally, I relaxed. It is 11 am.
I had gone out of Goiânia with some apprehension, because it was alone and it could face accesses difficult and complicated moments without a companion's presence, as it was in January of this year, when I and Cândido Borges conquered the confluence 50-17. But, happily, its were groundless fears. It was a very easy confluence!!!
