(visited by Ross Finlayson)

31-Mar-2022 -- After a long but easy drive from Dubbo to (the small, somewhat-depressing-looking town of) Walgett, I turned westward on the 2-lane Kamilaroi Highway, which, after about 12 km, passes less than 100m North of this Degree Confluence Point. Thus the hike to the point was very easy, but en route I passed through several large spider webs, filled with large, scary-looking spiders

The point looked very similar to other Australian Degree Confluence points that I had visited: grassland, among thinly-spaced eucalypts. However, recent heavy rains had made the vegetation look lush. Using my drone, I visited the still-swollen Barwon River, just to the South.

Here is a remote-controlled aerial video of this confluence point.
