18-May-2022 -- While driving from Hurricane, Utah to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, I (of course) had to revisit this very easy Degree Confluence Point that’s just off the highway. I had previously visited this point in December 2011, during cold weather, so it was nice to revisit this point in shorts and a t-shirt. The point is exactly the same as before: An undeveloped patch of desert scrub, less than 100m south of Uzona Avenue (which forms the state line between Hildale, Utah to the North, and Colorado City, Arizona to the South).
Normally, when I visit a point in a desert area, getting ‘all zeros’ (even to a resolution of 6 digits after the decimal point) is quite easy. This time, however, it took me about 1/4 hour to get ‘all zeros’. I blame radio noise from several nearby communication towers.
