29-Aug-2022 -- During my vacation in Portland, I decided to take a break today from mountain biking to visit this intriguing Degree Confluence Point, which, for some reason, had not been visiting in the past 17 years. From Delphi Road, I turned onto the McLane Creek Nature Trail access road, and parked in the designated parking lot. The paved roads there pass just 0.14 miles from the point; I bushwhacked through the forest from there.
The point lies up a slope, in dense forest. A metal pipe, driven into a tree stump, marks the point. The tree cover was too dense for me to launch my drone from the point, so instead I launched it from the parking lot, 0.15 miles away.
Here is a remote-controlled aerial video of this confluence point.
