05-Sep-2004 -- On the Labour Day long weekend our family and my friend Glen from South Africa went up to visit my wife’s parents in Campbell River. Looking for the nearest confluence nearby, was in the water south of Cortes Island.
My wife’s parents have a boat and on the morning of Sept. 5, my wife Shelby, her dad Garry and my friend Glen went out in search of the confluence. The water was calm as we made the 16 km journey from shore.
After about 20 minutes we reached the confluence. Garry tried to get all zeroes but we couldn’t quite make it, but I was happy N50.00.000 W125.00.002 . It was great day to find a confluence, even if it was a secondary one.
