17-May-2017 -- I ended my vacation in Missouri with a visit to this easy Degree Confluence Point, while driving from Springfield Missouri to Saint Louis (to catch my flight back to San Francisco). I took a detour off I-44 through the small town of Dixon, eventually ending up on (gravel) County Road 501. A bend in this road passes less than 500 feet from the point.
I parked at this bend and walked through long grass to reach the point, which lies at (or very close to) an unusual triple-trunked tree, with a small creek nearby. This is a peaceful, rustic spot; it deserves to be visited more often.
