02-Nov-2012 -- After visiting [30,-85], I attempted to visit [31,-85] - the next confluence point to the North (near the FL/AL/GA tripoint) - but was thwarted by numerous "No Trespassing" signs and the Chattahoochie River. So, feeling rebuffed, I continued northwards again, to try to reach the next confluence point [32,-85] before sunset.
Crossing from Florida into Alabama, I rushed through south eastern Alabama (the towns of Dothan and Eufaula), then crossed back into Georgia, continued north-east, and then found a series of dirt roads that took me right to the confluence point!
The last successful visitor - Michael Benton in July 2001 - noted that the dirt roads were very soft, requiring 4WD. Fortunately for me, however, I arrived in this area during a dry spell, and the roads were all hard enough for me to drive on with my 2WD rental car. Michael Benton also reported that many of the roads were overgrown, but I didn't find this. (Perhaps they've been cleared in the 11 years since then?)
Unfortunately I didn't reach the confluence point until about 1/2 hour after sunset, so I apologize for the poor quality of my photos: hand-held exposures of several seconds, at high ISO.
