#1: View North

(visited by Ross Finlayson)

15-Apr-2011 -- I visited this easy confluence point while driving from Albany, Georgia to Savannah. Because this point is so easy to visit, I was surprised to learn that mine was the first visit in more than 10 years.

After driving through the town of Reidsville (where a police car tailgated me for miles, making sure that I didn't stray from the town's draconian speed limits), I found this confluence point very close to the intersection of two oddly-named dirt roads: Durrence and Adron Tootle. The intersection itself is easily close enough for a successful visit; to get 'all zeros', I had to step over a low hedge and walk a few feet into a grassy field. The farmhouse to the east was just out of sight.
