08-Jun-2016 -- We have been on a sailing trip in the wonderful waters of Croatia in June 2016. And as always, we tried to fit in a Confluence Point on this cruise. We found a suitable one which fortunately also was easy to get to.
It happened to be located directly on our way from Vela Luka to Lombarda.
The point is, well, on water, and right between the island of Korčula at a distance of about 1.4 nautical miles (as seen on the photo looking south) and an extension of the mainland (on the photo looking to the east).
With little winds and running under engine it was easy to hit the spot quite perfectly as can be seen on the photo of the boats navigation system. On the photo looking north, the island Hvar can been seen far in the distance (well, 7 nautical miles may be considered not that far as the photo suggests).
