12-Jan-2007 --
On 12 January 2007 at 08:00 am I set off from Mozyr by bus, that took me to a village of Malye Zimovishchi. I reached that place at 09:00am. From there I started my march in south-western direction to degree confluence point.
The vicinity was beautiful, with rolling hills around. After a rainy night and morning the weather started to get better. The point I was trying to reach was in a sunny pine forest, close to an unpaved road.
In about 150 meters from the point there is the “Druzhba” pipeline. I reached the point at 10:30 am. It was still very windy, but the sun started shining. After documenting my visit at the point I started my march back.
On foot I got to a village of Kamenka. From there I hitchhiked to Mozyr. From Mozyr I took a bus to Kalinkovitchi. It was 1:30 pm. The next train to Pinsk, which was my base I set out from to get to yet another point, was at 11.40 pm.
I got to Pinsk at 4.20 am. I went from the train station to the bus station, from where I was going to go to 52°N 27°E and 52°N 26°E.
