20-Feb-2005 -- Almost, but no cigar. :-(
After the successful visit to 14N 61W, I checked the maps on board the Empress of the Seas: After visiting St George's on Grenada, the ship's route looked like it would bring it over this previously unvisited offshore confluence, but unfortunately a bit after sunset.
As we left the harbour I found a nice spot on the afterdeck, underneath the climbing wall, and started taking photos.
For the first 15-20 minutes we moved sligthly north of the direct line to the confluence, then the boat turned south, directly on a course for the point! We kept close to this line for the next hour, giving me hope that this was intentional, but then the officer on watch made another course correction, so that in the end we missed the confluence by about 1750 m.
