23-Apr-2005 -- I was visiting Turkey to attend the 90th Anniversary of the landings at ANZAC Cove in Gallipoli (Gelibolu), and decided to look up a few CPs while over that way. My first was 42N 27E. I drove from Istanbul to this point, the motorway was very good and it did not take long at all to get to the area. Once in the area, I just followed the GPS, which took me through some very nice rural villages.
I managed to get the car about 800 metres from the point and parked it up a small farm access track. This was on the other side of a small stream, which I had to cross on my way to the CP, which was OK as it had lots of crossing points. The CP was up on the top of a hill, in the middle of a field, which was just starting to grow. Took my photos and headed back to the car, so I could head south to 41N 27E.
