29-Jun-2005 -- 9 E was probably the most awkward point to find on this day long marathon starting at 51N 14E as it lies in woods and required a 40 minute round walk from the nearest parking place.

Also the thick forest canopy confused the GPS. However I found the small cairn after a few circles and took the photos even though I could not make the GPS settle on the zeros.

From here the A4 turns south west and the journey times become longer. I followed the A4 to Alsfeld and took a good minor road to Gemunden via Schwalmstadt-Treysa.
